The 5th chakra journal entry is really two fold. One is easier than the other. That first step is the recording and working with the dreams that was covered from Days 71-77 of FREE to be YOUng. Dreams are messages from our Inner Teacher, the Producer and our Sub-Conscious, the Director.
The second part of this journaling is more delicate. At level 4 of journaling, you wrote a letter to the Inner Teacher. Here at level 5, you sit in meditation and listen for the response and/or watch for the answer that appears in your life. Generally I don’t wait for a return letter from my Inner Teacher, however, I watch for signs and signals in my life and follow through on those.
Regarding signs that appear in your life: If you are given the same message three times that generally means your Inner Teacher is advising you. Usually on the third time, I take action. Except on blogging—I’m at least 12 signs and 4 years late on this. Gulp. Forgive me, Dear Inner Teacher and spiritual friends who requested a blog earlier.
Unfortunately, the participants that I found in classes who liked “listening” best were often too open and sometimes channeled some suspect characters. The cautious students who doubted their ability and learned this technique slowly were rewarded. Warning: Any message coming from the back of the neck is some lost entity wanting to cause trouble! It’s that same area of the neck where we all feel cold chills when in the company of a spooky lost ghostly figure that has refused to go to the Light.
I come to quiet attention when I hear a still small voice at the crown of my head. I stop and listen. That is the Inner Teacher speaking. We each need to learn to trust the messages that seem to come in from the crown of the head.
When my daughter was a few weeks old, I attended a weekly lecture by Paul Solomon and headed home. No one was going out for tea and cheesecake as was the tradition. My friends working in The Fellowship office said they were staying to sort files. Feeling like a new and dutiful responsible mother, I thought I needed to get Laurie home to bed. Please realize that Laurie had been peacefully asleep in an infant seat for two hours at that time.
As I was unlocking the door to my apartment, I heard, “Go back to the Fellowship.” And I was transported to slow alpha brain waves (meditation waves).
I stopped a bit stunned and inwardly said, “What?”
“Go back to the Fellowship.”
Silly me, I didn’t ask why. I rejected the message and proceeded in my duty as a new “good” mother to move Laurie from her infant seat to her crib and went to bed.
Over breakfast the next morning my roommate, Sharon Ramoth (now Solomon) was exuberantly raving about the night they had in The Fellowship office. They worked on a few files and then Paul shared stories about Jesus and the disciples until 3:00 in the morning. The group kept asking for more and more stories and Paul obliged.
“It was like we were there with Jesus and the disciples. We could feel the disciples as if they were real. Paul shared their inner thoughts and motivations. It was wonderful. YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!”
Yup, I should have been there. My Inner Teacher invited me. I refused to listen.
I do not like missing out on wonderful activities! After this incident I became attentive to the still small voice coming through the crown of my head!
I wish you happy listening to your Inner Teacher/Heart Self/Real Self or whatever you call this Divine portion of yourself. Just remember to call it!
