Day 133: More on the Introduction to The 5 Steps of Communication


Ah, The 5 Steps as I learned from Virginia Satir changed, enhanced my private life and my professional life and helped me to feel like I was fulfilling my life’s purpose—sharing how to create Peace Through Understanding.

These last few days we have just grazed the wisdom of The 5 Steps:

  1. Input from our physical body from our 5 senses.
  2. Our mental body with the input from our thinking/BRAIN mind.
  3. Our emotional body with the input from our 3rd chakra/solar plexus.
  4. Our spiritual body with the input from our 4th chakra/heart and our Super-Conscious Mind.  Choosing outcomes of harmony.
  5. Our decision body with the input from our 5th chakra/throat. Making decisions that create the harmony to bring peace through understanding.
