Praying with a positive attitude I have found to be successful.
I surmise that too many of us, including myself, have spent some time whining in prayer to a “God” we might have thought as unwilling to fulfill what we had already determined was an impossible request. That is definitely a recipe for failure.
After listening to the successes and woes of psycho-spiritual students and clients over 30 years I decided to agree with Catherine Ponder:
OUR EVERY THOUGHT IS A PRAYER.
Our thought/prayers throughout the day are best monitored with a loving self-consciousness. And with that in mind the total quotation by Gibran is good advice.
