Reading this phrase in my 30’s came at a time when I was involved with doing psychotherapy and studying Gestalt, Primal and family therapy so I had already begun to face fear. Avoidance of fear was confronted weekly in different sessions. As I worked as an individual, group and family therapy I had many opportunities to face the same fears I had avoided earlier.
This quotation encouraged me to follow the path I had chosen:
“Look fear in the face and it will cease to trouble you.” From AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI by Paramahansa Yogananda
(I am now sharing spiritual material that inspired me to long for and to create Super-Aging.)
