For Day 237: Keep and Enhance Your Balance by Going Barefoot

Wearing shoes restricts ankle and sole flexibility. Wearing shoes hinders the building of subtle muscle reactions especially around the toes and ankles. Those encasing restrictions of shoes can challenge our balance.

Our feet have more freedom to build subtle muscle strength when we go barefoot.  So I’m suggesting that wise “Super-Agers” go barefoot as much as they can to sustain balance.
