The phrase “Wholesome Action, Healing Self, Takes Effort” is so obvious and oh, so challenging.
I’ve spent the last 8 ½ months posting many of the ways I have used to heal myself to achieve a vital, fulfilling life at 78 years of age. Staying vital physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually is challenging and time-consuming. Thankfully most of my friends are patient and put up with my supplements, the variety of nuts, seeds and dried fruit I eat each day, my stretches and exercises, meditations and the other precautions I put on my diet and lifestyle.
It takes effort to choose health and vitality: remembering to smile, to stretch, to dry brush, to eat healthfully, to exercise sufficiently, to socialize with positive people, to take time to quiet the mind in rest or meditation, to think positive thoughts, to be generous, to do good works, etc.
All of that effort brings success. As Siddhartha Guatama said, “One who follows this path lives happily…”
As always wishing you peace, joy, truth, harmony, beauty and love.
