September 27, Day 270: More Knee Circles for Clearing Blockages and Raising Chi

This new exercise is also used routinely by avid skiers.

In this exercise you stand with feet closely together.

Bend to cup your hands loosely over your knees which are close together.

Do 10 circles of the knees to the left and then

Do 10 circles of the knees to the right.

It is impossible to do this exercise without strengthening your core—another asset for doing this process.

FYI: In physical exercises that inspire the production of chi energy, traditionally the exercises begin on the left side. In Northern European style education, we over use the logical right side of our bodies/the left side of our brain. Some people would even say the imbalance is so intense we are actually half-wits. To acknowledge the neglect of the creative left side of our bodies/the right side of our brain, it is customary to begin chi building exercises on the left side. It is as if we are whispering to the left side of the body, “I haven’t forgotten you.”

As in the exercise yesterday this exercise:

Strengthens the entire lower extremities

Works out older armoring kinks and hindrances

Prevents current blockages from taking hold and

Improves balance.

It accomplishes all of that in less than 30 seconds.

As a reminder–What Is Chi Energy and How Do You Balance It? › life › health › what-is-chi-energy

Apr 8, 2019 – According to the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, Florida, it’s best to use qi in the context of restoring balance since that is the “physical or nourishing portion that makes up the air, water, and food we take in,” whereas chi refers to the “vital fluids and the energy itself that flows through our bodies.”
