For Day 288: “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Meher Baba

This phrase “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” mentioned yesterday as a musical title has inspired many people.

In my mid-thirties I realized that worry was reverse prayer. I understood that as I was worrying or troubling about an issue with “what ifs” and or “that would be horrible,” I was actually “praying” for the worst to happen. What a waste of energy.  What a trap. What a disastrous activity. So, I began the process of learning not to worry.
