Today is the World Day of Interconnectedness. This date, December 12 each year, has been dedicated for prayers of peace for many years. In fact 12:12 pm EST is the suggested moment of prayer. I know I heard of this date before I left Europe in the late 90’s. It is the Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Saint Day. However, I believe the Mennonite Central Committee has been supporting this day as a day of prayer for peace also.
