(I am still catching up with some missed days of the blog.)
Through the year of these blogs on FREEtobeYOU, I have mentioned prayer many times. Prayer to me is holding a dialogue much of the day with my Higher Self, Jesus or one of his colleagues or The Father/Mother Energies of the Universe.
My life was enhanced recently for two days by a friend of a friend. She is a United Nations Peace Keeping Reporter serving in a worn torn state where the workers have to take leave often. I was blessed that on this leave she came to Northern Virginia. She credited our meeting to her daily prayer. It was lovely to be considered an answer to her prayer.
I’ve added this to my repertoire or litany of prayers:
Please and thank you for surrounding me with like-minded and mature people who lift my spirit.
When we think of each other as friends and colleagues, may we honor each other with sweet, kind words, thoughts and actions that are empowering and healing to each other and our community.”
I questioned what she meant by the word mature. She explained that she was asking for friends who would have the mental, emotional and ethical qualities of adulthood.
I wish you mature friendships.
