For December 25, Day 359: WHAT EMOTIONS ARE YOU CHOOSING TO EXPRESS IN 2020?

In the 70’s I was into the psychotherapies that had to do with expressing and getting out the negative emotions from current situations and earlier in the lifetime.

It was a SHOCK when I heard that we choose our emotions. I quickly got that we choose our emotions most often as a toddler in reaction to our relationships with parents and family. It was with interest that I learned we/especially I could learn to respond differently.

We can choose to be miserable that we have a less than noble president and we can choose to act more nobly ourselves and spread harmony in our community.

I could choose to be sad that my daughter wants more independence. Or I  can choose to explore options of more freedom for myself than I’ve had in 43 years.

For wanting to live a life of longevity—choosing peace, joy, harmony, contentment, and self-love are great choices.

Encouraging you to choose a lifestyle that brings more and more positive friends and emotions into your life in 2020.
